If you don’t know How to Keep Your Mobile Phones Working for A Long Time? Follow these 8 basic ways to keep your mobile phones working for a long time

Mobile phones have become part of people’s daily lives. Nowadays, these gadgets are no longer mere wants but useful needs. Still, they are the world’s number one means of communication, as they allow people to connect through text messaging, phone calling, online chatting, and other related modes. Although many other gadgets have been invented, these portable mobile phones remain unsurpassed. You can consider them inevitable.

There are countless types, brands, and models of mobile phones sold in the market. From the most affordable options to the jaw-droppingly expensive prices, there’s a pick for you! Nevertheless, keep in mind that no matter how good or grand your gadgets maybe, the most important thing is their durability and longevity. On top of that, you must know how to take care of it to lengthen its lifespan!

To avoid the hassles of malfunctioning gadgets and to lessen the costs of spending money, you should know how to love and care for your device. Again, your phone is your necessity.

1 – Sanitize your gadgets.

Just like in human health, lack of cleanliness is a common cause of disorder in technological devices.

Keep your mobile phone neat. Hands are used all the time, and you use them to hold and touch everything, so besides your hands, your gadgets must be properly sanitized as well. Sometimes, your phone’s screen is not working well because dirt and stickiness are sitting on top of it. Wipe the screen and the back as well, every area where the hands are always placed when the phone is in use.

Do not underestimate the power of cleaning. Small dirt can cause big problems if you ignore it and let them build up.

2 – Wrap them in protective cases.

People who don’t use mobile phone cases are among the bravest people on Earth.

Wrap yours in a protective case that’s tough and reliable. Buy one as soon as you buy your phone if there is no free case that comes along with your gadget purchase. As its name implies, a protective case shields and defends your mobile phone from the effects of getting accidentally bumped or dropped onto hard surfaces. It reduces the impact of sudden and powerful external forces that it gets in contact with too.

3 – For issues, take them to certified gadget centers or repair stores.

Brand new mobile phones will soon experience some issues that will cause owners to worry. They could be due to old age or technical errors in the gadget itself. Whatever the matter is, have it fixed as soon as possible, so that no further damage will occur. The problem won’t worsen if you act upon it quickly.

And if you will move quickly, make sure to do it properly by taking your mobile phone to certified gadget centers or repair stores. No offense to gadget technicians with home-based businesses, but don’t be tempted to take it to street technicians when you know that your phone is very sensitive and complex and that the brand itself tells users that the gadget’s parts are exclusive.

Go to your phone brand’s customer service center. Entrust them to experts who know what to do and will do their best to fix it, not to those who rely on just “trying”. You will spend money, either way, so choose to spend it on the sure ball. This prevents you from wasting money and time. This prevents you from allowing those people to ruin your gadget even more.

4 – Neither overcharge nor undercharge your gadgets.

There are times when you just leave your phone while it’s charging and while you’re sleeping or away from it. You either just forget to unplug the charger or intentionally do that, thinking it’s 100% fine. Many people are guilty of this, but keep in mind that if you want your device’s battery to work functionally long, avoid overcharging it. If you keep overcharging your phone, its battery will heat up and can be gradually destroyed.

On the other hand, undercharging your gadgets is also not recommended. Don’t let it reach its drained state. It’s not good as it can slash the longevity of the battery.

5 – Avoid dropping them.

This is very obvious, but let’s still have it here. Avoid dropping your mobile phone. Although it feels like an important initiation rite once you have a new phone, to make yourself comfortable with it, avoid hurting your phone. Often, people look at their phone after picking it up from the floor and say, “Phew, good thing, it still works.” Well, Uhm, yes, of course, it still will, probably unless it dropped from the 20th floor of a building. Nevertheless, accidentally dropping it is not good because the device’s internal components can experience damages that can grow little by little and that can worsen through repeated mishaps.

6 – Keep phones away from too much heat.

Mobile phones must be kept away from too much heat because there are chemicals inside of them that might react violently and cause leakage and damage to the gadget and danger to you. Slowing down of electronic devices can also be brought about by exposure to unhealthy levels of heat.

7 – Keep gadgets away from water.

Water is the top enemy of mobile gadgets. Their entries and effects are easily visible. If water gets splashed onto your phone, you automatically get worried as it can have an instant impact. All the more if your cell phone accidentally falls into the water. And yes, you indeed have a reason to get worried because if not immediately removed, water can cause disintegration in the gadget’s circuits and other internal parts. If not in an instant, the effects can show up after a few days.

8 – Do not overuse your mobile phone.

It’s like people hold their mobile phones all day, all night – for work, school, communication, games, entertainment, news, and many more! Only a few people can last a day without their cell phones.

However, no matter how much you love your dear phone, do not overuse it. There are times when your phone becomes warm or hot, right? That shows you’ve been using it for so long already, or that your activity is heavily consuming battery power. Avoid using it toooooo much. Gadgets also have limits that users must not ignore but care for. Take a break from your phone to rest yourself and your device.

 TAP TAP

It feels sad when your favorite mobile phone starts acting up, which is a sign of having it repaired or of replacing it already. Needless to say, your wallet becomes sad, too, because gadgets are unquestionably pricey.

However, you do not need to be gloomy because you can just make sure your phone lasts longer than other people’s gadgets usually do. The key is proper usage and responsible maintenance.

Remember, high-quality mobile gadgets are definitely designed to endure the test of time, but their life still always mainly up to how the user treats them. If you use your phone carefully and smartly, it can serve you for a lot of years. Otherwise, it can cry for a substitute earlier than expected. Choose to be smart, so you can save your dear mobile phone and save yourself from dearly priced gadgets!
